Nike LeBron 14 Shoes

In 2016, Jason Petrie did the unimaginable— he brought a midfoot strap back to the LeBron 14 (XIV)! In all seriousness, the last signature LeBron shoe to have a midfoot strap was the LeBron 5 under previous lead designer Ken Link (nine years earlier). Nike updated their hexagon Zoom Air units too, and they were twice as thick as the originals used on the LeBron 12. Find out more information on the LeBron 14 here.

Introduced in 2016, the LeBron 14 was designed to further the line's commitment to speed, power, and performance precision. This model was notably lighter and sleeker than its predecessor, with a one-to-one fit that aimed to make LeBron faster on the court.

The LeBron 14 featured a dual-zone composite upper with engineered laser perforation. It boasted a dynamic midfoot strap that utilized auxetic shapes to enhance its lockdown function. The hexagonal Zoom Air setup was replaced with a large-volume Zoom Air unit for the ultimate response and control.

Among the key colorways were the 'Chase Down' and 'Out of Nowhere', both featuring vibrant red accents and nods to significant moments in LeBron's career. The 'BHM' edition for this model featured a white and black design with gold accents, celebrating heritage and unity for Black History Month.
