Nike’s Air Max 95 obsession in 2025 has been a major factor in the sneaker game this year. The 30th anniversary of the Sergio Lozano-designed runner has brought out near-weekly colorways, OG big bubble construction, and added new collabs with everyone from UNDEFEATED to Yu-Gi-Oh!
The latest Air Max 95 on the anniversary slate keeps things cloudy with a mix of grey tones and a pale cannon green that’s only a few shades away from grey. The T-toe and top layer of the 95s stacked side panel are done in dark grey nubuck before the wavy layers descend into lighter grey tones beneath, and then return to dark grey as the upper gives way to a black midsole with translucent Air bubbles. The cannon green comes out in the lace loops, lateral side heel Swoosh, and tongue logo.
Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble Cannon
Over the 30 years since the 95 dropped, Nike has continued to put out new and retro colorways of the classic silhouette. As time went on, though, the construction of the shoe underwent slight changes, and the Air bubbles in the midsole began to shrink. This year, to the delight of Air Max fans everywhere, Beaverton bumped up the size of the bubbles, bringing the AM 95 closer to its original shape.
The Nike Air Max 95 Cannon will be released Holiday 2025 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $190. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to make sure you never miss another Air Max 95 drop.
