This year has been a very good one for the AM95. And it’s not surprising really, considering it also marks the 30th birthday of the legendary silhouette. But while Nike could celebrate by re-releasing even more iconic colorways or partnering with even more big names, the upcoming Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble SE Metallic Silver W is rock-solid proof that sometimes less really is more.
While this Air Max 95 might look like a summer sneaker, it’s actually landing as part of the Beaverton brand’s holiday lineup – but we’re not complaining. Painted in a crisp grey fog, metallic silver, and particle grey palette, it features the Sergio Lozano-designed gradient sidewalls, layered panels inspired by the human anatomy, and netting that made the shoe such a ’90s icon.

Rope laces tie everything together, and underfoot, there’s a chunky photon dust midsole to keep things comfortable all day. But instead of sticking with the standard 95 sole, Nike has opted for the Big Bubble version – which is closer to the original build of the AM 95 than what we're used to today. Sometime after 1995, Nike shrunk the size of the Air unit in the heel, but the 30th anniversary has brought this back in full force across a ton of different releases.
The Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble SE Metallic Silver W will be released Holiday 2025. It’ll be available via Nike and select retailers for $200, exclusively in women’s sizes.
