UNDEFEATED is Bringing Back its Gucci-inspired Colorway on the Air Max 95

Long before Gucci was collaborating with adidas on licensed sneaker releases, brands across the industry were drawing inspiration from the designer label’s iconic green and red combo for an elevated look with a wink. In 2017, UNDEFEATED brought the designer Christmas colorway to two pairs of Air Max 97s that sold out immediately. Now, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95, UNDFTD is bringing the colorways back on two OG Big Bubble 95s.
So far, we’ve only seen photos of the black pair, which starts with a patent leather toe and premium leather on the bottom of the side panels, and adds waves of red and green stacked in the middle with a repeating “UNDEFEATED” print on the red stripe. The toebox and top of the side panels are mesh, and the laces feature a silver pulley cinch. Unlike the 97s, which feature a clear Air bubble on the black pair, the early pictures of the UNDFTD 95s show fully blacked out Air bubbles.
We haven’t seen pictures of the second pair, but the colorway will be anchored by cream-colored sail fabric just like the second pair of 97s, so it’s fair to say we’re already familiar with the general vibe of the shoe. UNDEFEATED has been a staple in the sneaker retail and collab space since its opening in 2002, with 2025 being a year of UNDFTD retros. These 95s join the iconic UNDFTD Jordan 4s, which were one of the rarest Jordan sneakers until it was made widely available (relatively speaking, of course) in July. It’s about time they bring back the Dunk High NL, if you ask us.
