The Korean label UNAFFECTED and Japanese footwear brand ASICS come together for a three-pack of GEL-Kayano 14 colorways.
ASICS may not be the brand that every sneakerhead is searching for, however, they have continued to nail its collaborative efforts in the last few years. Many of these partnerships have come with overseas fashion labels that elevate the basic runners ASICS offers and the latest comes via Korean fashion label UNAFFECTED who has crafted three colorways of the ASICS GEL-Kayano 14.
Across three colorways, “White,” “Silver,” and “Green,” the high fashion-Esque GEL-Kayano 14 takes on tonal shades for each respective colorway. Typical construction for the model remains as the mesh, TPU, and leather overlays come together to create a geometric-inspired design with all three colorways getting black accents on ASICS branding details and via the section between the midsole and upper. Starting down on the toe you’ll find a thin set of laces that run all the way up to the tongue and are kept together by a pull-string system. Rounding out the look is the foam midsole that takes on tonal shades matching each sneaker paired with a black rubber outsole.
The UNAFFECTED x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 Pack is set to release Fall/Winter 2023 through UNAFFECTED and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is currently TBA.
