2022 has been a great year for Scottie Pippen’s Nike Air More Uptempo. Since its debut in 1996, basketball fans and sneakerheads alike have had a bit of a love-hate relationship with the silhouette. While some believe that the design is a bit too “in your face,” others find that this is what makes it so iconic. With all that said, even if you’re not a big fan of the model, you must admit that the Nike Air More Uptempo "Limestone" is a pretty great colorway.
Boasting an all-leather construction complete with visible stitching and perforations throughout for a vintage vibe, this Air More Uptempo is painted in a clean tan palette that will no doubt work with all your fits this season. Pull tabs on the tongue and heel emphasize the militaristic vibe, and the sneaker’s extra thick Air midsole features underfoot, complete with an array of bubbles that make this one of the most comfortable sneakers that you can wear on the court. Of course, you can’t talk about this sneaker without mentioning the giant “AIR” branding on the side panels. As if this wasn’t already big enough, Nike has gone ahead and highlighted it with “Valerian Blue.” This lush hue extends all the way towards the back with a fuzzy Swoosh logo.
