Jordan Release Calendar

The Air More Uptempo turns 30 next year, and to celebrate, Nike is bringing back some of the biggest and best colorways in the silhouette’s history. Following news that the legendary Black White is returning, another pair has been confirmed to re-release, that being the Nike Air More Uptempo Cobalt Bliss.
There’s no debating that the Air More Uptempo is one of the greatest retro basketball sneakers ever made. Designed by Wilson Smith III and immortalized on the feet of Scottie Pippen during the Chicago Bulls’ 1996 championship run, the model embodied the attitude, swagger, and maximalist design ethos of ‘90s hoops culture. Its oversized “AIR” lettering, full-length visible cushioning, and unapologetically bulky shape set it apart from every other court shoe of its era – and three decades later, it remains just as influential.

While the Cobalt Bliss isn’t an OG colorway from back in the day, it’s still a great design. First released in 2023 in conjunction with the NBA All-Star Game, it sold out instantly and has been climbing in value ever since. This upcoming retro stays true to what made the pair so popular: a stealthy black nubuck upper, paired with crisp white “AIR” lettering outlined in cobalt bliss trim.
Elastic straps pair with a speed-lacing system for a secure, snug fit, while the padded mesh tongue adds breathability. The bold graffiti-style lettering bleeds seamlessly into the sculpted midsole, which houses visible Air cushioning from heel to toe for that signature Uptempo bounce.
Expected to return Fall 2026 via Nike and select retailers both online and in-store, the Nike Air More Uptempo Cobalt Bliss will retail for $180. For your best shot at securing a pair, make sure you download Sole Retriever’s mobile app right now.
