Belgian Streetwear Label Arte Antwerp Announces Long-Term Partnership with adidas

We live in the era of the long-term sneaker relationship. A collaboration environment that started with offshoot connections between sneaker brands and the occasional fashion entity has evolved into an entire scene full of recurring partnerships and custom silhouettes crafted by some of the world’s biggest fashion houses. The latest marriage between fashion and footwear was announced this week, bringing together Belgian streetwear label Arte Antwerp and adidas on a new model made for all-day comfort.

The Arte Antwerp x adidas partnership hits the ground running with the Lightblaze POD, a reimagining of the Lightblaze moccasin with a fashion-forward design and lace-up construction. The perforated upper is slim and streamlined with a lacing system that sits inside on the sidewalls, while an ultra-cush LIGHTSTRIKE foam midsole is separated into support pods in the toe, middle, and heel. The sneaker will launch in an all-white colorway that matches Arte Antwerp’s minimalist style. A midnight navy colorway was released for friends and family, but that one isn’t seeing a wide release.

“For us, this is more than another sportswear partnership; it’s a chance to slow things down in a fast-paced, trend-driven landscape and put substance back at the heart of design,” Arte Antwerp founder Bertony Da Silva said. “We aim to redefine sportswear through refined, carefully designed pieces that balance craft, culture and performance. The Arte Antwerp x adidas Lightblaze POD was released today, September 25, 2025 through the adidas CONFIRMED app, with access codes provided on social media by Da Silva, and adidas partners like Nuno Mendez and singer Jay Pack. For now, it appears the exclusive access is only available to those located in the EU and Asia. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
