The signature sneaker landscape forever changed once brands began to recognize the rising popularity of the WNBA. Since Breanna Stewart got her first Puma sneaker in 2022, we’ve seen five women get their own model (or have a confirmed sneaker on the way): Elena Delle Donne, Sabrina Ionescu, A’ja Wilson, Caitlin Clark, and Angel Reese. Last month, the latter of these five stars officially revealed her signature model, the Reebok Angel Reese 1, but now we have an official release date for three different colorways of her debut sneaker.
Joining the Paradise Pink and White Black colorways is the Grey Angel Reese 1, the same pair that was used to debut her signature model. The upper features a mixture of ventilated mesh panels that are surrounded by a TPU exoskeleton, forming a nod to Angel in the form of angel wings. These TPU panels are pearlized, matching the shiny appearance of the patent leather paneling on the tongue.

Angel’s logo appears on the patent leather tag and the insole, while nods to Reebok’s ERS (Energy Return System) are found just above. Finishing the upper is the molded TPU heel clip for support. Inside, the Angel Reese 1 features ERS tech with strategically-placed pods of nitrogen-infused SuperFloat foam for zonal support.
Reese first signed with Reebok during her days at LSU, with Shaq leading the charge on courting the superstar to the brand. After dropping two separate collections with Reebok that included lifestyle apparel and clothing, Angel’s first performance basketball release hit shelves in June with the Engine A Pretty Gritty. Prior to this, she signed a multi-year extension in October 2024 that included the announcement of her signature sneaker.
The Reebok Angel Reese 1 Grey will release September 18, 2025, through Reebok online. Available in extended unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $120. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
