Angel Reese’s Reebok Engine A Pretty Gritty Releases June 2025

Reebok has re-entered the performance basketball world via key signings of athletes like WNBA superstar Angel Reese and the development of performance basketball sneakers. While we have some time to wait before Reese and Reebok officially unveil her signature sneaker, the duo just dropped images of Angel’s signature logo. A day later, this “A” logo is featured front and center on Reese’s first publicly available Reebok Engine A PE.

Inspired by Reese’s unapologetic attitude on the court, the Reebok Engine A Pretty Gritty features a two-tone look on the upper comprised of bright pink hues and deep burgundy shades. Pink takes over the overlays around the toebox, while the base layer comes in a deep red, almost brown shade. Complementing these hues are more burgundy shades on the synthetic overlays running along the midfoot and heel.

Branding for Reese, specifically her new signature logo, is placed on the tongue tag alongside a Reebok Vector logo. The “ANGEL REESE” text, split between the two sneakers, replaces the usual “ERS” logo. Angel’s logo is also featured on the insole, while the heel tab comes with a 3D embroidered Reebok Vector logo. Below sits a foam midsole with ERS technology embedded in the heel, rendered in a gradient pink to burgundy hue, and a pink rubber outsole.

“The Engine A – Pretty Gritty is my player exclusive colorway for Reebok’s new Engine A Basketball Shoes,” said Reese. “I’m excited to give fans a glimpse into what’s to come in our overall partnership and we’re still just getting started.”

The Angel Reese x Reebok Engine A Pretty Gritty will release on June 4, 2025, through Reebok online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
