Reebok Club C Shoes
The Reebok Club C was released in 1985 by Paul Brown as a tennis performance shoe, but it gets its roots from another silhouette. The Reebok Revenge Plus, also, released in 1985, but the silhouette didn’t meet tennis club dress standards. After initial success with the Newport Classic line, Reebok decided to rebrand the Revenge Plus into the Club C. Check out Reebok Club C collaborations with Bape, Eric Emanuel, and JJJJound here.
Another timeless model in Reebok's roster is the Club C, originally introduced in the 80s as a tennis shoe. Standing for 'Club Champion', the shoe's minimalist design, comfort, and durability made it a hit on the courts.
Like the Classic Leather, the Club C transitioned smoothly into the realm of casual footwear. Its clean lines and understated aesthetics make it a versatile choice, perfect for pairing with a wide range of outfits. The shoe's soft leather upper, low-cut design, and cushioned sole ensure all-day comfort, marking it as a practical as well as stylish option.
Among the vast array of Club C variants, the 'White/Green' and 'Triple Black' colorways have remained ever-popular. Collaborations with brands like Palace Skateboards and celebrities like Machine Gun Kelly have resulted in unique renditions of this iconic model. The Reebok Club C truly embodies the blend of sport and style, continuing to be a beloved classic today.
