With one gold medal already on his mantel, Edwards’ latest adidas AE 2 colorway is a shoutout to his Team USA history and future.
The adidas AE 2 USA features a white mesh base with silver support structures across the toe and side panels. The red is added on the vamp, with blue on the tongue popping out against a black tongue, ankle collar, and laces. More red is added between the blue on the AE tongue logo and on the alternate pair of laces.
After dominating the sneaker industry in 2025 with the adidas AE 1, Edwards has taken a bit of a back seat to stars like Ja Morant and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on the sneaker front this season. But while the response to the AE 2 has been a little lukewarm, Ant and adidas are already looking towards the future, with the AE 3 expected sooner than later.
