The Doraemon x Converse Collection Releases April 2025
Published
Converse has launched various collaborative efforts over the last few months, including new collections with Kenzo, Naruto, Rick Owens, and Tyler, The Creator. Going back to the world of animation, Converse is teaming up with the Japanese manga and anime series Doraemon on a four-pack of shoes.
Tackling the Chuck Taylor All-Star, two pairs are covered in solid colors, while the other two feature graphic prints. Starting with the solid-colored pairs, we see one version in a split blue and pink upper inspired by the manga’s logo and another in a plain off-white upper. Both pairs have a smiling Doraemon on the lateral side of the profile, while a custom insole and packaging round out the designs.

The graphic designs are direct rips from the Doraemon manga, one in a colorful assortment that uses illustrations from all 45 volumes of the ‘70s series, and another taking comic strips from the original and covering the entire upper. Custom Doraemon logos are found on the tongue tag and the insole, the latter containing a hit of Converse branding. Finishing the design are tonal midsoles and custom packaging.
The Doraemon x Converse Collection will release on April 30, 2025, through Converse Japan and select retailers in Japan. Available in men’s and kids’ sizing, the retail price is $100 for the adult pairs and around $85 for the kids' pairs.
