During the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, Team USA was spotted rocking a never-before-seen winter boot. While rumors suggested that these will never be released to the public, it looks like these claims have been proven false as we take an official look at the Nike ACG Zoom Gaiadome Gore-Tex.
Arriving in “Summit White," “Black,” and “Brown” flavors, the Gaiadome is finally launching through Nike’s All Conditions Gear sub-division. Featuring high-top structures, all three pairs are crafted from a Gore-Tex-infused mesh upper that will take on the colder months with ease. ACG branding adorns the tongue, ankle, and heel, where you’ll also find a rugged Trail Frame cage for added support. Thick rope laces wrap around a series of metallic eyestays, and oversized pull tabs at the tongue and back make taking these on and off a breeze. Shifting your focus to the bottom half of the boot, the midsole is crafted from Zoom Air, and features “Designed, tested, and made on planet earth” text etched on the sides.
The Nike ACG Zoom Gaiadome Gore-Tex in three colorways are set to release in Holiday 2022. They will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select retailers worldwide, online and in-store.
