The buildup to Nike ACG’s relaunch was quite clear six months back. The All Conditions Gear line showed off innovative tech in the outerwear and footwear space with the Lava Loft jacket and the Ultrafly, but now that the ACG line is officially back (even though it never technically left), we can expect plenty of new offerings from the label. Just a day after getting our most detailed look at the upcoming Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike ACG project, the outdoor sub-label is officially unveiling the Nike ACG Pegasus Trail.

One of Nike’s longest-running performance running series, the Nike Pegasus line began in 1982 and is currently on to its 42nd mainline silhouette, the Pegasus 42. Pegasus sneakers equipped with Gore-Tex coatings and trail variants have been released, and still are today, but this Nike ACG makeover carries the new ethos of All Conditions Gear: high-quality performance gear for athletes who want to push the limits in any conditions.

“The Pegasus Trail is ACG’s best all-around shoe,” says Lauren Gregory, All Conditions Racing Department athlete and 2025 Golden Trail World Series Final champion. “It’s responsive and comfortable. I use it for everything in all conditions — from trails to gravel roads, pavement and a mix of all three.”

Lauren and her fellow athletes at the All Conditions Racing Department, which consists of elite trail runners across the globe, worked in collaboration with Nike’s design team to create the ACG Pegasus Trail. On top of these elite athletes, hundreds of trail runners tested various iterations of the sneaker to dial in every aspect, from fit to durability and comfort.

Starting with the outsole, which let’s face it, is arguably the most important aspect of an outdoor-ready trail shoe, the Pegasus Trail is constructed with the new Nike All Terrain Compound 2.0 rubber, delivering improved traction in wet environments. The last of the sneaker has been made with trails in mind, providing a wider toebox and more room in the footbed for extra comfort. The upper features a breathable, quick-draining engineered mesh that keeps you cool and dry, while a rubber wrap on the toe adds extra durability against debris encountered on trails.

The Nike ACG Pegasus Trail will debut in April 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $155.
