Nike ACG is back, baby. The All Conditions Gear side of The Swoosh took a bit of a detour from its specialty of hardcore outdoor apparel and sneakers as gorpcore took over the fashion industry, causing the ACG moniker to lose a bit of its allure. Nike recognized this and is in the process of revamping the cult classic label, launching the new ACG Ultrafly, and introducing a new roster of elite athletes under the newly established All Conditions Racing Department. Another major innovation from Nike ACG is the Lava Loft, a new jacket that is ready to tackle the elements.
Nike ACG Lava Loft Tech
Nike ACG has made plenty of down-filled outdoor jackets before, but the Lava Loft features ACG’s most advanced technology yet. Weighing in at just 10 ounces, the jacket maintains a solid 750-fill for a lightweight feel with solid heat retention. The bonus is it’s also breathable, using AeroLoft technology, so you can still get some wind and airflow on your body.
The Lava Loft jacket uses a bungee system at the hem and a 2-way zipper to create the perfect fit, but the best feature is its portability. You can pack the entire jacket into a pouch that fits in your hand.

The Nike ACG Lava Loft jacket is available online now through Nike. There are two colorways offered at launch, including a Black and a Safety Orange variant. Each is priced at $295. Below, we’ve included direct links to cop the jacket, but expect more colors to launch in the near future.
