Nike ACG Introduces Elite Roster of Athletes Under New All Conditions Racing Department

Originally launched in 1989 as a successor to the Nike Hiking sub-division, Nike All Conditions Gear has since maintained a strong presence in technical outerwear and streetwear. Although the gorpcore trend has caused the brand to make headway in concrete jungles and, in all honesty, shift its focus to the style side of things, The Swoosh's ACG division still has its roots firmly planted in outdoor-focused apparel and sneakers. Strengthening its connection to the world of outdoor exploration, Nike ACG has just introduced its All Conditions Racing Department, an elite roster of trail runners and athletes.
“Nike ACG believes that life is meant to be unleashed in the wild,” says Scott LeClair, VP/GM, Nike ACG. “From Fastest Known Times to 100-milers, mountain climbs to river crossings, the pursuit of feral dreams fuels everything we do. It’s dirty. It’s hard. It’s gritty. That’s what Nike ACG and our All Conditions Racing Department athletes are getting after.”

The roster includes 22 athletes representing eight countries and five US states, such as Christian Allen from Utah, who’s gone from All-American on the track to winning rugged mountain races like Speedgoat 50K. Switzerland’s Nienke Brinkman also made the squad after storming onto the scene with a Dutch marathon record and a European Championship medal. Caleb Olson, another All Conditions Racing Department athlete and winner of the 2025 Western States Endurance Run, stated, “The way Nike ACG is showing up for me and my teammates at races like Western States shows their care and investment in trail.”
All athletes have helped test Nike ACG prototypes, such as new versions of the ACG Ultrafly and a new material technology dubbed Radical AirFlow, which combats rising temperatures and heat indexes athletes face on race day.
Expect to see more members join Nike ACG’s All Conditions Racing Department and for more innovations to come from the outdoor-focused label. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app for more updates on the latest happenings in the sneaker and streetwear world.
