While the WNBA is on break until May, Caitlin Clark is still making headlines. The Nike athlete, who is next in line for a signature sneaker, recently dropped a new ad with the sportswear brand that featured guest spots from Travis Scott and the Kelce brothers as well as Easter eggs calling back to multiple personal moments in her life. December also marked a big month for Clark as her two Nike Kobe PEs that dropped in 2025, one Kobe 6 in Light Armory Blue and a Kobe 5 in Indiana Fever colors, ended up as two of the most-worn kicks in the entire NBA.
According to KixStats, which tracks the sneakers worn by players across multiple professional basketball leagues, Caitlin Clark’s Nike Kobe 6 Protro PE was the most-worn sneaker in the NBA by minutes played for the month of December. The light blue Kobe was worn for 2,433 minutes, with another Kobe 6 colorway following Caitlin’s. The second most worn was the WNBA colorway of Bryant’s sixth signature sneaker, with 1,652 minutes. Moving past the Harden Vol. 10 Imma Be a Star (1,447 minutes) and the Kobe 6 All-Star (1,438 minutes), we get to Clark’s Indiana Fever Kobe 5 Protro, which was worn for 1,120 minutes.

The final three sneakers on the list for the month of December include the Nike LeBron 20 Pink Diamond at 964 minutes, the Nike Ja 3 Coconut Milk at 905 minutes, and the Nike Kobe 4 CHBL at 893 minutes. Overall, the month was clearly dominated by Nike Kobes. Four of the top 10 sneakers (not by colorway, just by model) were Nike Kobes.
The NBA is clearly excited by Caitlin’s sneakers, and the league will have another opportunity to represent Clark on the court soon. Her Nike Kobe 5 Protro Rookie of the Year PE will be released in Spring 2026, and Clark is also expected to debut her very own signature sneaker during the upcoming 2026 WNBA season.
