This might be the first year you should be happy not to have attended Paris Fashion Week. An intense heat wave engulfed Europe and the City of Lights, so maybe sitting at home with the AC cranking isn’t so bad after all. But don’t get it twisted, the upcoming releases from fashion and footwear brands are incredible, and we’ve got a ton of heat (no pun intended) to look forward to.
The usual suspects at Paris Fashion Week, like legacy fashion houses, were prominent, but the descent upon Paris also produced first looks for sportswear and running labels. No longer is Fashion Week just about couture; it’s a mecca for debuting new sneaker collabs and upcoming in-line products.
As we sat in the AC at home and scrolled through socials, we compiled our favorite sneakers showcased at this Paris Fashion Week. Check below for our full list, and download the Sole Retriever mobile app for updates on the latest happenings in the sneaker and streetwear world.
Saucony’s Showroom

If you asked anyone who’s been a regular at Paris Fashion Week for decades if they’d think Saucony would have a presence at the event, they might laugh you off. Now, we’re the ones laughing them off. In the last few years, the heritage American running label has found a beautiful niche with specific collaborators and an incredible in-house team that has shown up at PFW to break necks. This time around, we got glimpses at the upcoming Stan Birch ProGrid Guide 7, inline packs like the Omakase, Modern Boho, and Country Club, and, of course, Westside Gunn’s upcoming work. But we’ll touch on the Buffalo rapper’s latest project a little bit later.
Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘01 Paris

The Swoosh, like other sportswear brands, is still relatively new to the Parisian streets during Fashion Week, but they always find a way to dominate headlines. Some interesting remixes to classic models most certainly hit your timeline, but did you see the friends-and-family orange Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘01? The pair references La Marais, the Paris neighborhood where Nike’s showroom was located this year, and draws direct inspo from an ultra-rare CO.JP AF1 from 2001.
Rick Owens x adidas

It’s been 10 years since the Lord of Darkness, Rick Owens, and his eponymous label worked with adidas, but the duo is back in business. Rick showcased a series of avant-garde and gothic takes on footwear and apparel that included an inflated jacket with personal air conditioning. We’re excited to see what else Owens and The Three Stripes have cooking for 2027 and beyond.
Jordan Brand’s Black Pack

We just got done talking about Rick Owens, so let's keep the all-black train going, shall we? Jordan Brand didn’t officially debut the “Black Pack,” a series of four all-black later numbered Air Jordans that are all coated in exotic animal textures, on a runway or in a showroom. Instead, the label gifted select friends and family of the brand with pairs, including a new Nike family member, Jae Tips. In Paris, the Air Jordan 14, 15, and 17 were spotted, though we do know there is an Air Jordan 16 as part of the pack.
Nike Air Bakin Low

Nike’s archives run deep, and every year we get a bring-back that has been in the vault for some time. For 2026, The Swoosh is bringing back a slew of Y2K-era basketball models, including the controversial Air Bakin. However, in 2027, a low-top version of the Nike Air Bakin will hit shelves for the first time. The pair almost looks like something out of an ACG catalog, and the previewed colorway definitely has something to do with that.
Vans’ Showroom

Another brand that has begun to take Paris by storm is Vans. We recently highlighted the success Vans is having right now, and of course, the recipe that got them here continues to work. Bedazzled and jewelry-laden silhouettes, collabs with Dover Street Market, Fugazi, Born X Raised, and Imran Potato, and new expressive takes on classic Vans models have us excited to see what else Vans is cooking up.
Westside Gunn x Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 Web Spider-Man

Griselda rapper Westside Gunn only has one Saucony collab that’s hit shelves, but the Buffalo native continues to preview more projects. We got a closer look at the red Grid Jazz 9 that he initially teased last year and saw in-hand pics of an animal print take on the silo, but everyone was talking about his ProGrid Omni 9 Web. Yup, that’s the same model he wore in a pink colorway back at Kith Miami when his Triumph 4 hit shelves in December 2025. However, this pair is made in collaboration with Gunn, and it’s clearly taking some inspiration from your friendly neighborhood spider-slash-guy.
Nike Flightposite 3

In 2024, Nike brought back the Air Flightposite for a new retro run. Since then, we’ve seen a series of releases, but when was the last time the Flightposite 3 hit shelves? 2001. It’ll be over 25 years since the original run of the third Flightposite model when Nike finally drops new pairs in 2027, and honestly, the retro should have happened much sooner. That avant-garde, futuristic Y2K-era design language is all the rage, and Nike Basketball mastered this aesthetic.
Square-Toe Air Forces and Air Maxes

If you’re down in Texas or on a ranch, you might have some square-toed boots around the house, but for us sneakerheads… probably not. Unless, of course, you cop Nike’s upcoming square-toe pack of Air Force 1s and Air Max 90s. The Swoosh squared off the toebox on both models, but the Air Max 90 received the biggest makeover. It’s almost like it’s been hit with the Big Head Mode on GoldenEye 007 from the Nintendo 64, which, come to think of it, did inspire an Air Max 1 in the past.
Celine Reebok

Fashion house Celine debuted its first-ever collaboration with Reebok on the Freestyle silhouette. The runway show featured scuffed and distressed white colorways, but behind-the-scenes looks revealed a red and a black variant. It will be interesting to see if this partnership expands past the Freestyle.
