Westside Gunn Debuts His Take on the Saucony Grid Jazz 9

Saucony has become a major player in the hype footwear space due to its partnerships with several designers and tastemakers, most notably with Jae Tips. Thanks to the Bronx native, who just teased his sixth project with the brand, Westside Gunn of Griselda connected with the brand last year. After getting glimpses at samples of Gunn’s Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4, he appeared at Paris Fashion Week with samples of his upcoming Grid Jazz 9.

Of course, Westside Gunn incorporates plenty of details nodding to Griselda into this Grid Jazz 9, with the record label’s scorpion motif replacing the medial Saucony logo on the midfoot. It’s also on an added hangtag, while exotic textures, like faux reptile skin, are found on panels surrounding the toe, midfoot, heel, and tongue.

The color palette here sticks to a Red October-esque all-red look, coating the mesh, quilted textile, and leather upper. Final details include a Griselda and Saucony co-branded insole, a red foam midsole, and a tonal red rubber outsole.

Westside Gunn’s Saucony Grid Jazz 9 has no confirmed release information at this time, but considering it made its debut at PFW, expect to see the pair in the early parts of 2026.
