Nike brought the heat to Paris. After showing off pairs of Square Force 1s and Square Max 90s mixed in with tropical bird colorways of the Air Max 95, Air Max Dolces, and laceless Air Max 97s, The Swoosh is adding a long-awaited retro silhouette to the mix. Continuing the brand’s perfectly-timed Foam and Flightposite retro run, the Foamposite 3 joins its older siblings in the modern catalog.

Pretty in Pink

The Nike Flightposite 3 was spotted in Paris by K.O. from ATATF in a pink and black colorway with shiny metallic silver accents. Seen in the middle of a wall full of sample Air Force 1s, the Flightposite 3 jumped out in soft pink across the entire upper. Upon closer inspection, black is added to the tongue, laces, and sockliner, while mirror-like silver shines on the two massive side panel bumpers.

In 2024, Nike brought the OG Flightposite back and dropped a handful of colorways over the next year or so, including a Jason Kidd PE pair that capped off the collection late last fall. Now, after plenty of Foamposite and Hyperflight retros, plus a Foamdome preview from Paris, the 2001 Flightposite 3 looks to be the next early-aughts retro on the return schedule.
