The mingling of luxury labels and the street-level sneaker industry has broken down a lot of barriers and re-contextualized fashion at every level. One of the most glaring changes? Fashion Week. In Paris this week, the standard Vogue set is also joined by the brands from the Eastbay catalog, with Saucony, Vans, and now Nike debuting new pairs on the streets of France.

Hybrid Heat in the Paris Streets

The Nike Air Foamdome Low popped up on the Instagram story of Nike designer Frank Cooke this week alongside the caption “Heat in them Paris streets… Foam Low.” Combining Nike’s catalog-wide return to the early aughts and the brand’s push to bring the Air Max Goadome out of the security booth and into the boutique, the new hybrid debuts with a classic eggplant colorway.

Is the Nike Air Foamdome Low Releasing?

As of now, we’ve only seen the Foamdome Low Eggplant in the one preview image, with no plans yet for a retail release. When new designs show up at Paris Fashion Week, though its usually only a matter of time before they see the light of day. We do know that the regular Foamdome in the Eggplant colorway is dropping later this year.
