Westside Gunn Debuts Saucony’s New Omni 9 WEB Silhouette at Kith Miami

Today was a milestone for Griselda rapper Westside Gunn as his first collaborative sneaker with Saucony finally hit shelves. If you tried to cop this morning, you’ll know how hard it was to get the SUPER FLYGOD ProGrid Triumph 4s, and it wasn’t any easier in person. Sole Retriever was in attendance at the launch event for the sneaker at Kith Miami, where they got a firsthand look at the energy Gunn was able to bring to Art Basel. Fans had been lining up since 11 PM the night before, and pairs were extremely limited. As Westside Gunn entered the Kith Miami store, the first thing that caught our eye was the pink sneakers he had on feet.

Making his way through the Kith Miami Design District location to the sales counter upstairs, it was clear that the pink Sauconys were some form of the Omni ProGrid 9, one of the brand’s most popular models. Luckily, Sole Retriever was able to get the scoop that the sneaker is a sample of the upcoming Saucony Omni 9 WEB, a fusion silhouette that takes the paneling of the Grid Web and applies it to the Omni 9.

The Buffalo native also revealed this info on his Instagram story, showing the sample tag that notes the model is expected in Spring/Summer 2027. Just to be clear, the pink colorway of the Omni 9 WEB is NOT a Westside Gunn collab, but just an in-line colorway of the sneaker. Gunn also handed the pair to a fan purchasing the SUPER FLYGOD ProGrid Triumph 4s, confirming to the crowd that the inline pink pair is coming in 2027 and he’s working on his own version of the sneaker.

As for the rest of the event, the Kith store began to fill with Westside Gunn's fans as the day progressed. The rapper made sure to take photos with any and all fans who requested a photo, and he signed the boxes for each pair that was sold in-store. Some traveled hours the night before to line up, with over 100 people waiting to cop before the drop went down just after 11:30 AM. If you thought that Saucony couldn’t generate this kind of buzz, think again.

The Saucony Omni 9 WEB is expected to debut in Spring/Summer 2027 in multiple inline colorways. Westside Gunn did confirm he had his own colorway in the works, but the pink pair pictured is just an inline version. Check below for some exclusive images from the event and of the sneaker.
