Over the past four decades, Michael Jordan's AJ 1 has been inspired by many different things. With that said, for the first time ever, Jordan Brand is paying homage to different dimensions with the Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low SE "Exploration Unit." One of the first sneakers to debut as part of the highly-anticipated "Exploration Unit" Collection, this is stuffed full of futuristic details that are unlike anything you've ever seen.
Dressed from heel to toe in a selection of luxe materials, this Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low SE works on top of a crisp white leather base, while suede panels of various shades of grey make their way across the upper. The ballistic mesh tongue is highlighted with deep burgundy hits, and it's decorated with a holographic 3D Jumpman badge. This motif extends towards the Swoosh branding on the lateral and medial sides which features a wormhole graphic. Around the heel, "Jordan" is written in a robotic font, and underfoot, you'll find an extra chunky Nike Air midsole that elevates this Jordan to another dimension.
The Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low SE Exploration Unit W is set to release in 2022 and will be available in women's sizes. A retail price is TBA, but these will launch via Nike, the SNKRS app, and select Jordan Brand retailers both online and in-store.
