The controversial clog trend has officially reached new heights. Following the release of the Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog “Cobbler,” and the announcement of the Jordan System.23 "Cool Grey Multi-Color,” we’re now getting up close and personal with the adidas adiFOM Q "White," the Three Stripes next foray into the world of crazy clogs.
While this funky footwear option began gaining steam at the start of the coronavirus pandemic, two years later, it doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere, anytime soon. The adidas adiFOM Q may look extremely futuristic from the outset, but it actually takes heavy inspiration from one of 2001’s most iconic models, the adidas Quake. Boasting a one-piece EVA foam upper that’s highly sculpted from heel to toe, cut-outs along the lateral and medial sides offer the optimal amount of ventilation.
A Trefoil logo adorns the heel, and unlike similar silhouettes like Kanye West’s Yeezy Foam Runner, a traditional lacing system can be found here for the ultimate lockdown fit. While the sock-like bootie is totally optional, it’s a great feature to have if you plan to rock these during the colder months. This is dipped in a light grey hue and is finished off with bold orange accenting that makes this sneaker even more eye-catching than ever.
The adidas adiFOM Q White is set to release on September 2nd through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Releasing in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $120. For updates on the most recent clog-inspired silhouette from adidas and more, keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App for future releases.
