The adidas Adimule is adidas’ Answer to the Birkenstock Mule

Footwear trends shifted to prioritize comfort and ease of wear in the 2020s. We’re still experiencing this as brands drop new mules, slip-ons, slides, and other recovery footwear. For adidas, they’re looking to find an answer to the popularity of Birkenstocks and their mules with the upcoming adidas Adimule.
adidas Adimule Design Details
Mimicking Birkenstock’s typical design, the silhouette features a suede forefoot cover and a cork footbed. The premium fuzzy suede finish coats the entire forefoot area in a monochromatic shade, with adidas Trefoil branding debossed into the material. The cork sole unit features a contrasting shade of suede on its footbed, with yet another Trefoil logo debossed.
Below, the outsole borrows from the adidas Adilette slide with its diamond traction pattern and dotted divots. So far, Sole Retriever can confirm four colorways planned for August 2025, including Clear Pink, Powder Plum, Aurora Ink, and Magic Beige.
adidas Adimule Release Details
The adidas Adimule will debut in the four aforementioned colorways in August 2025 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is $100.
