Vans has been experimenting with its catalog lately, introducing a split-toe water moccasin-style silhouette with SZA and continuing the brand’s jewelry store hype cycle with a seemingly endless run of Pearlized Old Skools. Whether it's skating or fashion, though, Vans always knows how to bring it back to basics.
The Vans Premium Classic Slip-On Harris Tweed takes the classic concept back nearly 300 years to Scotland, adding the OG plaid fabric to a new Slip-On. In addition to the Slip-On, the latest Harris Tweed Vans collection also features an Old Skool 36 and a Loafer 53 with the same multi-color fabric covering the uppers.

On the Slip-On, Vans adds a mix of studded multi-color gems and silver spikes, buttons, and do-dads accenting a plaid wool base in a crisscrossing mix of red, orange, green, yellow, blue, and more. Piling on even more punk energy, the upper adds pink stitching randomly and a yellow leopard-print insole.
The Vans Premium Classic Slip-On Harris Tweed will be released on September 24, 2026 through Vans and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $130. For the latest news and release dates in the world of streetwear and sneakers, download the Sole Retriever App.
