Vans has been on the grind this month. Recently, they’ve brought back the highly celebrated Pearlized pack of the Vans Old Skool 36, shown off a K-POP Demon Hunters collab, and revealed the first Vansza collection with the brand’s first-ever artistic director, SZA.
Now, the SoCal skate brand is looking to get down to business with its Harris Tweed collection. The handwoven Scottish cloth is popping up across a trio of silhouettes, including the Old Skool 36, the Classic Slip-On, and the ultimate mix of business and pleasure, the Vans Premium Loafer 53.
Released last year, the model capitalizes on the growing sneaker-loafer trend in the footwear industry while keeping Vans’ skate-focused design ethos at its core. The Vans Premium Loafer 53 features a standard loafer construction on the upper, with a distinctive moc toe build. Within that U-shaped toe and tongue is a blue-based plaid pattern, while the toe features a more olive tone, and the heel and side panels feature a myriad of shades to really play up the patchwork vibe.

The loafer strap crossing the tongue can be customized with a number of removable metal charms, including a set of spikes and a bobby pin. Stud detailing on the tongue strap and ankle helps to tie it into the aforementioned Pearlized Pack while adding a bit of flair to the professorial pair. A pre-scuffed sole unit featuring the brand’s signature vulcanized Vans PopCush waffle sole underfoot completes the look.
The Vans Premium Loafer 53 Harris Tweed will be released on September 24, 2026 via Vans and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price for the customizable kicks is set at $120.
