There’s a select group of sneaker boutiques that have enough popularity and creative energy to team up with brands across the sneaker landscape. In Italy, Slam Jam is the cream of the crop, and its collab history makes it easy to tell. After working with everyone from adidas and Salomon to New Balance and Jordan, Slam Jam’s latest collab returns to a years-old partnership with Vans.
The Slam Jam x Vans Classic Slip-On Act of Disagreement was posted in a preview from Slam Jam this week, combining classic black and white and red and white checker patterns on one shoe. Slam Jam and Vans have worked together before, releasing a Sk8-Hi colorway nearly four years ago.

This time around, the classic silhouette is covered in thick woven fabric, with distressed scratches across the entire upper and midsole. The front half of the shoe features black and white checkerboard, before switching to a red and white checker pattern on the back half. The midsole joins the party with fading black and white checkerboard graphics, while an “Act of Disagreement” tab sits underneath a Vans tag tab.
The Slam Jam x Vans Classic Slip-On Act of Disagreement will be released September 10, 2026 through Slam Jam and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $90. Download the Sole Retriever App for real-time release updates on this Vans collab and more in the sneaker world.
