Italian Sneaker Boutique Slam Jam Previews New Salomon XA PRO 3D Collab

The gorpcore trend is big business in Europe. A staple from the rainy streets of London to the Italian coast, the technical outerwear and performance hiking sneaker style is a global phenomenon. For its latest collab, legendary Italian sneaker boutique Slam Jam is putting its own twist on one of Salomon’s favorite outdoor trail models, the XA PRO 3D.

Previewed in a heavily shadowed Instagram post from Slam Jam, the new Salomon XA PRO 3D collab is still a bit of a mystery, but from what we can see, it features a black leather base with basketball jersey mesh in between the structural panels and hits of reflective silver 3M material spiking up across the side panels. The top of the midsole adds a little more style with what looks to be a subtle white and grey camo print.

The Solomon logo on the lateral heel is added in textured black to keep the theme consistent, and, considering the silhouette, it’s a solid bet that the entire shoe is covered in a Gore-Tex coating, ready for any weather the Boot throws your way.
