Los Angeles Sparks star Kelsey Plum has been using her connection with Under Armour to tell plenty of personal stories on the Breakthru 5 sneaker. In the last few weeks, we’ve gotten looks at a new Plum-Berry PE (this one actually released to coincide with the WNBA All-Star Game) and a pair inspired by her brother Daniel’s firefighting career. Next up for Kelsey Plum’s Under Armour Breakthru 5 PEs is a gum-inspired colorway.
An engineered mesh base in white allows a multi-color ensemble to coat the paneling and tooling of this Breakthru 5. A multi-color splatter print is applied to the white base, while bubblegum pink hues are found on the Under Armour logos on the midfoot and tongue, and on the nylon lace loops. The perforated leather midfoot panel comes in a marbled mixture of white and blue, while the collar gets hits of volt green.
