If you’re looking for an avant-garde approach to iconic styles, look no further than Engineered Garments. The longstanding luxury streetwear staple has been mixing high and low fashion vibes for years, and when it comes to sneaker collabs, the brand has always brought out-of-the-box creativity with a formal turn. On its latest collab with Saucony, Engineered Garments revives its wing tip runner hybrid with a black and white tuxedo turn.
The Engineered Garments x Saucony Shadow Original Black White starts with a standard Saucony Shadow, the 1986 runner silhouette with four decades of success under its belt. Instead of switching up just the color blocking, though, Engineered Garments breaks out the formal attire with a two-tone leather wing tip that’s ready to run.
Following two collab wing tip Shadow colorways in monochrome black and brown leather that debuted last fall, the new black and white colorway elevates the formal hybrid to a black tie level. Starting with decorative black leather on the toe, heel, and side panel logo, the rest of the shoe switches to soft white leather, with frills and perforations at the edge of every panel. Lastly, two pairs of thin, leather laces in white and black are ready to switch to best match your suit.
The Engineered Garments x Saucony Shadow Original Black White will be released June 6, 2026 through Engineered Garments, Saucony, and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $180. To keep up with all the latest Saucony collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
