Puma has teamed up with multiple classic IPs to give its performance basketball footwear some nostalgic makeovers. Helping start 2025 will be a collection of footwear and apparel with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so far spotted on two different Puma MB.04s in honor of the four main turtles, and a Puma MB.01 for one of the group’s villains, Baxter Stockman. Images of a Puma MB.03 Low for Krang (aka Kraang) have appeared.
The anthropomorphic brain supervillain has a long history in the TMNT series, as he was first introduced in the 1987 cartoon series and has appeared throughout the various iterations of the turtles. On the slash marks along the upper, a brain pattern in pink and purple is present alongside a graphic of Krang’s eye, complementing the solid purple hits found on the mesh base, TPU overlays, and leather panels. Along the tongue, LaMelo’s phoenix logo is given a Krang-inspired makeover as it is covered in this brain pattern, while Krang himself is found just above the top of the tongue tag.

Like the other TMNT x Puma sneakers, the heel tab features co-branding for Puma, Melo, and TMNT. The insole appears to have a custom TMNT graphic, but the images here obscure the graphic. Below, the pink NITRO Foam-laden midsole has purple splatter details and is paired with a pink and purple rubber outsole.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Puma MB.03 Low Krang will release February 22, 2025, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price for men's pairs is set at $125.
