Cult Classic and forgotten sneakers have found new life in the modern era of sneaker culture as these obscure silhouettes give us a refreshing break from today's more viral sneakers. Fitting this bill perfectly is the Air Max Craze, launched in 2001, was marketed as a cross-training silhouette made exclusively for women. Nearly a quarter century has passed, and the sneaker is finally returning. Alongside the Black Bright Citrus and White Metallic Gold renditions is a Laser Orange colorway.
The silhouette, featuring a neoprene base with a zipper shroud covering the laces set, comes with a printed grid pattern that spawns the entire length of the upper. Bold blue accents contrast the nearly all-over laser orange finish, appearing on the mini Swoosh near the toe, the paintbrush strokes on the lateral midfoot, and the Max Air logo on the tongue. Unlike traditional footwear, the Air Max Craze features a back-less construction that provides a secure fit through the TPU padded slingback that cups your heel.
