The freaks come out for the full moon.
Nike is hooping for Halloween this year, turning the Beaverton basketball catalog into a cast of horror movie mascots to celebrate the harvest season holiday. After showing off images of a slim reaper KD 18, zombie Ja 3, scorpion Book 1, and pumpkin patch Wembanyama GT Hustle 3, Nike completes the pack with a fur-covered werewolf Giannis Freak 7.
The Nike Giannis Freak 7 Werewolf starts with big tufts of wolf hair covering the tongue. Below that, the upper is covered in light grey knit mesh with Giannis’s repeating logo graphic throughout. Despite the werewolf theme, the shoe adds hits of bright highlighter color on a pink ankle color, neon green laces, crimson Swoosh outline, and a split yellow and pink outsole.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has used his signature sneaker line to lean into one of his favorite nicknames, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and the werewolf colorway is a nice way for Nike to carry that theme through to the holiday. This pair also marks the second Halloween sneaker in Giannis’ signature shoe line (not counting the takedown Immortality series), with the Freak 6 also undergoing a spooky makeover.
The Nike Giannis Freak 7 Werewolf will be released October 21, 2025 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $125. For all the latest Giannis Nike news and release info, make sure to download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
