The Nike Book 2 Eggplant Foam first popped up on our radar a couple of weeks back. Seen in a photo that Book posted of his new number 15 Suns jersey to Instagram, the new gear was flanked by a pair of purple metallic Book 2s. Now, we’ve got a complete look at the colorway, with a release date to match.
Featuring an upper coated in a sheet of shimmering eggplant purple armor, the wide mesh tongue switches to a royal shade of matte purple, with a two-tone mix of bright and deep purple on the lace loops and tongue stabilizer. The sockliner and midsole switch to solid black, while the outsole adds a border of icy blue for a bright accent.
