The Nike Air Foamposite has been having a resurgence of late. In addition to retros, Foam cleats and rumors of an SB Foamposite on the way, Nike is prepping for the shoe’s 30th anniversary with some graphic-printed pairs slated for Summer 2027.
After getting word of a star-covered Foam earlier in the month, a new leak with matching mock-ups brings news of a red ruby pair. Expected to add all-over print ruby gemstone graphics in shimmering red to the armored upper, the color code lists shades of Sport Red, Challenge Red, and Black, giving hints at what is likely to be a two-tone black lace panel border and outsole.
Beyond the retro and new design Foamposite pairs that have already hit retail, sneaker lines from across the Nike lineup have started using Foam references in their design language. Devin Booker has added Foam pairs to his Book 2 line, A’ja Wilson has a Foam-reminiscent A’Two, and new shoes like the First Sight Shadow bring the silhouette into the modern era.
According to @zSneakerHeadz, the Nike Air Foamposite One PRM Ruby (W) is reportedly releasing Summer 2027 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $240. For all the latest Nike news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
