That’s the year the Air Foamposite One first hit shelves. The futuristic, and even today, forward-thinking silhouette has become a cultural icon. It’s gone through its ups and downs, sure, but will remain one of the greatest models from the boundary-pushing era of ‘90s Nike Basketball. To commemorate the sneaker’s birthday, Nike is dropping a special 30th Anniversary colorway in 2027.

Reported by zSneakerHeadz, the Air Foamposite One 30th Anniversary will come with a white Foamposite upper and black accents throughout. Pops of game royal, a clear nod to the OG colorway of the silhouette, come embroidered on the Swoosh along the black nubuck eyestay and on the Penny Hardaway One Cent logo on the heel tab.
Aside from the black tongue, laces, and sockliner, accenting grey details are visible across the white Foamposite upper, thanks to the stamped stars. These are applied in a 3M reflective coating, so once you hit the pair with flash, the stars come shining. Finishing the sneaker is the black sole unit and a black midfoot shank.

The Nike Air Foamposite One 30th Anniversary is reportedly releasing Summer 2027 via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $250.
