The Nike GT Future and GT Cut 1 Get EYBL Peach Jam Makeovers

No longer are exclusive kicks gatekept for professional and collegiate athletes, thanks in large part to the advent of NIL deals. Even if you haven’t signed a contract with a major sportswear company, just attending their youth hoop circuits will usually grant you access to sneakers that the public will never get its hands on. Just look at the output from Nike EYBL. We’ve recently seen LeBron NXXT Gen by JuJu, Sabrina 4, Ja 4, and KD 19 colorways emerge for Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League, but add two more with the GT Future and GT Cut 1.
Two New EYBL PEs for the Kids
While we’ve seen Nike create plenty of GT Cut 1 PEs for EYBL, this marks the first time the GT Future is getting a makeover for the youth hoopers, even if most (if not all) will reserve it for off-court use. The pair looks strikingly similar to the GT Future Fire, one of the very first colorways of the model, but this EYBL colorway opts for a peachy orange finish near the toe that transitions into yellow as you move back. Metallic silver is present on the Swoosh logos on the medial and lateral sides of the upper, while black accents appear on the lace set.
For the GT Cut 1, the same peachy color scheme is applied, with the mesh and synthetic panels on the upper all doused in a single hue. Pops of red appear on the TPU stabilizer on the eyelets, while the unfinished Swoosh logo on the lateral is done in black. Matching this is the sockliner, the lining of the tongue, and the EYBL logo on the heel tab. Finishing the sneaker is the black and gradient midsole, featuring the same peach-to-yellow transition found on the GT Future.
