Nike is putting in work to keep one of its classic silhouettes relevant. Despite decades of ubiquity, the Air Force 1 Low had fallen into a bit of a rut, while Jordans and Dunks dominated the early part of the decade. Now, the Air Force is regaining its spot in the sneaker hype cycle, and to celebrate the shoe, Beaverton is remixing the shape to refresh the hype for new and old fans alike.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low '01 Triple White is the latest Air Force 1 to surface in its 25-year-old 2001 shape, following introductory collab pairs from NIGO and F&F pairs from Victor Victor. The ‘01 shape features a slimmer toebox and more athletic fit, correcting complaints from AF1 lovers about the declining quality of the silhouette over recent years.
Though up to this point it appeared the ‘01 retro reshape would be reserved for collabs or special projects, we now see that there are inline pairs on the horizon. Still, expect most if not all AF1s that drop to stay in the ‘07 build unless noted otherwise. In addition to the in-line ‘01 retro, Nike SB has added a new revamp to the silhouette with the SB Air Force 1 Low, creating two distinctly comfort-focused takes on the AF1 for 2026.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low '01 Triple White will be released Fall 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $130. For all the latest Nike Air Force 1 news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
