Victor Wembanyama has all the juice in the world. With the Spurs and Thunder tied at two games apiece heading into game 5 of the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday night, The Alien is one of Nike’s most prominent sponsored athletes, so it makes perfect sense that he step into the stadium in San Antonio in a pair of Air Force 1s we’ve never seen before, from a collab that shares his name and says it twice.

The Victor Victor x Nike Air Force 1 Low '01 is a sample from music and fashion manager-turned-mogul Steven Victor’s ongoing partnership with The Swoosh. So far, we’ve only seen the pair on Wemby’s feet ahead of game 3 in San Antonio and in one sample-tagged standalone image, but following NIGO’s 2001 Air Force 1 retro, it makes sense that Victor, NIGO’s longtime manager, would be next in line to use the 25-year-old AF1 shape.

The sample colorway is as simple as they come, highlighting the retro shape and the collab branding. Starting with a full coat of premium black leather, the Swooshes on the side panels and vamp are white like the midsole for a classic two-tone makeup. Victor Victor’s dog head logo is added at the lateral heel, and two Victor Victor hangtag keychains add more Steven Victor branding.

Still Just a Sample

As of now, there’s no word on a release date or retail price for the Victor Victor x Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘01, but with Wemby giving the pair its public debut, we wouldn’t be surprised to hear more soon.
