The Nike KD 19 Aunt Pearl keeps up the same general colorway as the last dozen-plus KD Aunt Pearl colorways, starting with a marbled pink upper. Beginning in 2012 with the Nike KD 4 Aunt Pearl, Durant has paid tribute to his late aunt on every signature model since. Pearl was a steadying force in Durant’s childhood, helping his mother to raise him in Seat Pleasant, Maryland before passing away from lung cancer in 2000. Durant’s Aunt Pearl colorways have been used to raise money and awareness for cancer treatment, making them a really good shoe with a great cause.
