For Nike, the trade created a brand-new market for Giannis’ signature sneaker line, arriving with perfect timing as his new Giannis Freak 8 gets set to drop.

The Nike Giannis Freak 8 Wolf Grey is the latest pair from the Freak 8 rollout to arrive with official images, showing off swooping lines rising from either side of the midsole and an armored, dimpled upper, with a matching mesh pattern on the breathable tongue. After getting a look at the shoe in a Miami-friendly debut pink colorway, the new grey pair keeps it subtle to match the legendary Heat work ethic.
Starting with Wolf Grey across the entire upper, a lighter shade of grey is added in the middle of the midsole, with white surrounding that on the rest of the ReactX cushioned midsole. The Swoosh and Giannis “A” tongue logo are also white to match the midsole, with more grey on the outsole underfoot to finish the tri-tone color combo.
