Devin Booker’s love for nature has been a guiding light for his signature sneaker with Nike, the Nike Book 1, as multiple colorways have been released, inspired by the great outdoors. Pairs have brought the vibes of Sedona and Flagstaff to the basketball court, while others have taken inspiration from the sunrises and sunsets seen in Arizona. Next up for the nature-inspired Book 1s is a blacked-out colorway with iridescent accents dubbed Night.
Updating the material makeup of the sneaker, we see faux reptile skin leather applied to the mudguard, vamp, eyestays, and heel overlay. A black diamond-patterned mesh is on the toebox, midfoot, and tongue. Color-shifting iridescent accents come on the lenticular Swoosh and collar, which is finished in a multi-color combo of purple, blue, and yellow that changes depending on the angle you view it.

Inside the sneaker is a hidden embroidered detail that replaces Booker’s family crest. Instead of the emblem representing his family, the constellation Scorpius is present. Fitting as Devin Booker’s astrological sign is Scorpio. A black rubber midsole and glow-in-the-dark rubber outsole complete the design.
The Nike Book 1 Night will release on July 1, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $155. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
