The NBA season is fast approaching, and that means plenty of new signature sneaker releases. For Devin Booker, the Phoenix Suns superstar has begun to tease his second model with Nike, the Book 2, with renowned trainer Chris Brickley posting a video of Booker working out in a blurred-out weartest sample of the sneaker. While we still have to wait for detailed looks at the Book 2, official images of a brand-new Nike Book 1 colorway have emerged online.
Devin’s penchant for archival and vintage Nike products shines through once more on the Book 1 with this new colorway mimicking Sergio Lozano’s iconic Air Max 95. Fitting as 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of the silhouette. It’s also not the first time Booker used his sneaker to pay homage to the AM 95, with a Neon colorway of this design having launched earlier in the year.
Just like the Solar Red Air Max 95, which is set to return Holiday 2025, this Book 1 uses greyscale hues across the suede, canvas, and mesh upper and pops of red on select portions. These red hues land on the mini Swoosh applied to the lateral toebox, the Air Max 95-inspired Book logo on the tongue, the Chapter One text on the heel, and the sockliner. Finishing the design is the black rubber midsole and a tonal rubber outsole, encapsulating the Zoom Air and Cushlon cushioning.
The Nike Book 1 Air Max 95 Wolf Grey Solar Red will release Holiday 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $145.
