While all eyes might be on Philly thanks to the debut of the New Balance Maxey v1, New Balance has got it going across the pond in Flimby with their upscale lifestyle offerings as part of the Made in UK line. Made in the UK is the ultimate love letter to the catalog of suede and mesh sneakers New Balance has cultivated throughout its history. Matching a darker brown, Japan-exclusive is a lighter take on the New Balance 991v2 Made in UK in an earthy Walnut colorway.
The New Balance 991v2 Made in UK Walnut kicks off with a light brown mesh base, a khaki-like shade highlights the supports on the toe, a V2 branded heel tab, as well as the 991 badge and N branding on the side panels. Atop those layers are sandy suede overlays that evoke its namesake legume.

The tonal colorway continues onto the ABZORB midsole that takes on a slightly darker shade than the nutty brown suede. The only turn from the monochromatic look is the smallest flashes of grey that appear on the top eyelets and sockliner. A hint of chocolate brown adds a pop to the heel counter and the outsole underfoot to complete the earthy look.
The New Balance 991v2 Made in UK Walnut will be released on August 20, 2026 via New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $250.
