Lil Yachty Unveils Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 Sail All-Star Colorway

Lil Yachty is never shy about his standing with Nike and Jordan Brand. A true sneakerhead before he found fame, Yachty made his teenage dreams come true, not only acquiring nearly every pair he’s ever wanted, but collaborating on a handful of Air Force 1s under his Concrete Boys label. You might not like his collabs, but when it comes to his place at the top of the Jordan seeding list, well, you’ve gotta respect it.

The latest exclusive heat sent directly from Jordan to Yachty’s door is a new Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 in creamy sail denim. Yachty posted a photo of the pair on Instagram with the caption “#uaintgotdese” and he was exactly right. The colorway starts with a toe and heel covered in tan pony hair before evolving to a full upper of sail-colored denim. The lace panel is done in perforated white leather, and the heel panel adds a bit of deep burgundy for hits of contrast.

We first saw the dark denim Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 last month, courtside at Madison Square Garden on Spike Lee, and inside Supreme’s Manhattan store on skater Josh Velez, who put the early collab to the real test by skating the shoe immediately. Yachty’s preview of the sail pair is the first time we’ve seen the tan denim colorway, with the faux horse hair replacing the elephant print on the dark denim pair.
