The Sail Denim Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 is Part of Jumpman’s Year of the Horse Collection

When Lil Yachty pulled out a pair of early-seeded Levi’s x Air Jordan 3s covered in tan sail denim, pony hair, and red accents, it wasn’t clear why the second colorway of the jean company collab pack traded the dark blue denim pair’s elephant print for a horse’s mane, but now, the material switch-up is starting to make more sense.

Turns out, the sail colorway of the Levi's x Air Jordan 3 Retro is part of Jordan’s Year of the Horse Lunar New Year collection, joining pairs of the Jordan 1 MM Low V3, a Trunner O/S, and a Luka 5 in the stable of holiday stallions. The Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 is the first numbered retro to join the holiday pack, so the fact that it’s also one of the year’s most anticipated collabs leaves it galloping heads and shoulders above the rest of the Year of the Horse pack.
