Spike Lee was honored with a Career Achievement Award by the Critics’ Choice Association at the organization’s 8th annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Television over the weekend, alongside David Allen Grier, Ryan Coogler, and more. And when Spike steps out in the public eye, one thing is certain: he’s going to be wearing a fresh pair of Jordans. After debuting the blue denim colorway of the upcoming Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 on the Madison Square Garden floor, Spike kept the denim energy up at the Critics’ Choice award ceremony.
Rounding out the Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 collection, Spike debuted a Black Cement colorway of the denim collab, putting a cherry on top of the upcoming partnership. Combining the classic look of a Black Cement 3 with speckled grey denim on the toe, heel, and lace panel, plus a coat of black denim across the entire upper, Spike made sure to hike the hem of his pants all the way up to make sure photographers at the IMDB Portrait Studio got a good look at the new colorway and his white Jumpman socks.
The Black Cement colorway adds a red Jumpman logo to the tongue and a white midsole to complete the upgraded classic. In addition to the two colorways debuted by Lee, we’ve also seen a third, sail denim All-Star colorway by way of fellow Jordan seeding list heavyweight, Lil Yachty.
The Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 Black Cement will be released alongside the rest of the Levi’s Jordan 3 collection Spring 2026 through Nike and select Jordan retailers. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $230. For all the latest Jordan collab news, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
