Few designers have been able to define an era like Salehe Bembury. The former Yeezy and Versace designer has been a major catalyst for the crossover between high fashion and streetwear, bringing creative, bold design language to every project he touches. Bembury’s vision has been clearest through his ongoing partnership with Crocs, where he literally put his thumbprint on the clog industry.
Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Juniper Manuka
Salehe’s latest, a Pollex Juniper in tan, keeps up his natural proclivities, taking its name from manuka honey and bringing together rich gum, khaki, and cream earth tones. The upper is a honey-colored leather, with a cream inner bootie to secure the foot, and Bembury’s signature thumbprint Pollex sole wrapping around the toe, heel, and side panels from underfoot.
In an era where collaborators are often locked into exclusive deals with big brands, Bembury has broken the mold, serving as a super free agent and partnering with brands across the industry without conflict. In addition to his work with Crocs, Bembury has been designing basketball and lifestyle shoes at Puma, putting his unique color palettes on New Balances, and launching his own brand, Spunge.
The Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Juniper Manuka will be released on September 12, 2025, through Salehe Bembury's Be A Spunge website. A wider release via Crocs and select retailers will take place shortly. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
